I have learnt that most people are never satisfied for generally two reasons. First, due to a natural growth and yearning for more and secondly, a lack of understanding of what brings true value and fulfillment into their lives. There is also another aspect to your question, and that is she may just feel very hurt about something and has decided to direct her wrath at you.

We have a natural growth hormone in us all - its called wanting.
The more you get the more you want - its like an addiction.
The level of stimulus must always be greater than the previous to ensure the body maintains a healthy state of well being. The issue around wanting is not so much the characteristic or process of wanting but rather the focus of what is wanted. For example wanting more from others , more materialistic stuff or money are not healthy objects of wanting. In contrast wanting better for others, the planet or to personally perform better are more healthy objects of wanting. Often people don't understand the process of wanting which leads to much confusion and angst for many.
