Yes, going back can sometimes be the way to go forward.
Going back to when you last had fun, felt excited in your bones, free of burdensome responsibility, free of financial worry and debt and free of being stilted by the woes of the world, may just be the start of your new life.
By breaking free from that path of idleness and the associated frustration at not being able to work out what you want to do now, and find your way back to that path of self a natural feeling you once had in an inner place that guided you, indicating what's right and wrong for you, and you alone. It's as if your short and long term radar has been damaged leaving you in a very vulnerable position of incredible uncertainty, for such a very long time.
Remember those days when you use to crank up a variety of music that made you feel good? Your spirit was alive, your heart was pumpin', your hair was on fire and you were travellin' at the speed of light where not a soul in town could touch you or bring you down? Your confidence was filled to the brim, even overflowing with cockiness at times, but hey, what was really wrong with that if it didn't hurt you or anyone else?
Your dreams were vivid, right in front of you and reachable in your mind, nothing could stop you and the road ahead was a journey of thrills and spills.
Are you starting to remember now as all those old tunes bring those old feelings flooding back, along with that coat of invincibility you used to wear?
So sometime after a Separation, when you finally crawl out from the rubble of negative times, feeling lost and bewildered, trying hard but not really being able to stimulate that inner sanctum of you, a quick trip back in time to when you last truly felt alive and seven feet tall, may just be what your soul needs to shatter those last few icicles free from being caught in some ice age for what has appeared to be an eternity.
So fear not as much as hell may appear to have frozen you in time, I am here to reassure you that one day, your days of being in a coma will come to an end, and like that butterfly which sets itself free from the cocoon, so will you be.
Your life plateauing was for a reason, accept this, and see it as a phase of recovery, healing and obtaining the personal development you needed, to now go on to a new stage of life that will soar you to great heights and marvels of greatness.
So when you travel back into your past, filling up the holes in your life just like a piece of Swiss cheese, rewinding as far as you need to go to remember those feelings of natural adoration for all that life has to offer, then you will feel a change within. When you do, you have turned the corner and set to taxi down the runway taking off into your world of wonderful possibilities, once again.
With love, kindness and peace
Michael
