Forgive and Forget

Admittedly, the poison from hurt and loss can run deep and the scars may show for countless years in one way or another, both to yourself and onlookers, however it's the price we must sometimes pay to safeguard the ones we love according to our values in what may seem treacherous societal conditions.
The good news is you still have two legs and two arms, and you are coping better each day with the not so good days becoming less frequent, as you adjust yourself into a new way of life with renewed vigour for a new purpose.
You maybe a little worse for wear in some respects but possibly the power, wisdom and freedom you have attained may in the bigger scheme of things be worth the trade. You may not realise it yet, but grander and greater things await you for sometimes you have to lose to gain.
And part of gaining is to lose all the poison you have accumulated in your veins for others and possibly yourself, as this poison will only restrict your ability to live a better life and do the greater good you were sent here for.
As a variation on the quote by Carl Bard, John Maxwell a Pastor once said, "Though we can't go back and make a brand new start my friend, anyone can start from now and make a brand new end."
Although forgiving yourself and others will come in time, it's best it be sooner than later as by ridding yourself of this wicked poison and negative energy, will a more positive and vibrant energy emanate attracting better things into your life. Achievement, success and fulfillment will be yours again for the receiving.
Likewise, it maybe hard to fully forget what has happened and no one truly expects you to, however like forgiving, time will eventually erode your past ills by redirecting your attention from the past into the exciting and new present that lay before you. All you have to do is focus on being excited about new stuff in the now and PRESTO! Just like magic your old self will be but a mere figment of your imagination just as that butterfly now with freedom and abundance never looked back to being a caterpillar transforming in the cocoon.
With love, kindness and peace
