No greater sacrifice comes from a person in giving up their life for that of a child, partner, parent, family and those vulnerable in society. There can be no more nobler and honourable deed than trading your life for that of another.

Equally, there is no greater sacrifice than from a father or mother to give up their life in their duty to protect their children and loved ones from any form of harm.

When a mum or dad is put in a position to fight and defend, die if necessary, to protect and save the life of their child, often after long periods of being subjected to acts of attrition from legal and bureaucratic processes, you can expect nothing short of a war that can make a World War look like a Sunday afternoon tea party.

It's a reminder to us all to treat parents, children and families with the respect they deserve, no matter how messed up their life and emotions can be during a Separation.

Hell hath no fury like that of a woman scorned is equally attributable to parents when harm comes to their loved ones. No matter whether you are a person, organisation, system or government body, clearly you do not want to be caught meddling and interfering in the lives of parents and their offspring, for the result may just be more than you expect.

Unless you have a death wish you just don't want to go there, as the love and genetic instincts can be so powerful that a person can kill in a blink. Even those with the most sensitive, caring and loving souls can be pushed to a point where they can permanently neutralise an assault on their loved ones, perceived or otherwise, and still sleep like a baby with a clear conscience just as if nothing had ever happened.

With love, kindness and peace
Michael
