Down the toilet you go

What most people don't foresee when first Separating is that all too often the effects from a protracted battle, litigious or otherwise, can lead to a large deterioration of your health whether it be medical, psychological or dental issues, or all of the above.
So when one adds all the losses up a reduction of assets, loss of career and income, increased debt, decline in happiness, fun, loss of friends and perhaps extended family, time, energy, health, psychological distractions, medical, dental and yes the loss of children, a family, a loving partner and companion, and purpose for your existence one can now begin to comprehend the potential severity of a Separation.
Without pulling the violin from it's stand, the success of a full recovery is no doubt debatable and seemingly unlikely at times, as you believe your chances of winning first division in lotto is a more realistic prospect, even after knowing you have not bought a ticket. However, on a positive note recovery can be achieved, albeit at a slow, demoralising and disheartening rate, with a few spikes of excitement and fun tossed in, just to keep you in the game.
It's also fair warning to the masses who have not yet traversed the road of Separation to not do it don't go there or better still, conduct it in such a disciplined manner that harm and loss is unnacceptable to both parents, a not negotiable if you like, where a rise to full blown maturity and common sense prevails.
Alas, for some of us it's way too late isn't it as you get hurled around by the currents of financial, psychological and physical ruin. Well, at least for some time until you can either swim free of this torrid ocean, it's secondary and ternary waves of abuse or until you somehow get pulled to safety. Laying soaked upon bleached shores drifting in and out of consciousness in sync with the cold and numbing tide, engulfing your body as you wonder whether you are at last in heaven, or just having another one of those days; feeling like you've been flushed down the toilet!
With love, kindness and peace
